FREEDOM HILLS – Up in the heights of Western Colbert County where Toop and Key Underwood spent many a year under the moon and stars, treeing coons and sippin’ shine… There’s a cemetery. It’s the final resting place for Man’s Best Friend… Troop was the first of many laid to rest here. and you’ll only find true coondogs… None of them collies, shepherds, pomeranians. Just coondogs.

And every year on Labor Day, there’s a big reunion here. The Quad-Cities Daily goes up every year to take EVENT PHOTOS on this unique and charming place. We present them here.
