Cristy Lane Richardson  Cristy Richardson, age 43 of White House, Tennessee, died December 9, 2024 after a sudden illness. First and foremost, her 2 boys, Jalen and Braylon Cline, step-son, Drew Richardson, step-daughters, Sydney Richardson and Kate Richardson; and husband Kyle, were her LIFE. Family was her entire world. She was described as a “survivor”, fiercely independent, goal-oriented, hard-working and “hard-headed” (according to her brothers). She raised 2 boys by herself and constantly strived to advance herself for better paying jobs to provide a better life for them. Cristy was always in pursuit of happiness and found that happiness when she met and married the love of her life, Kyle Richardson. The cruise they took in April of this year was the time of her life. “I never got this far in life” was her favorite saying.

Cristy loved reading – in particular, self-help and spiritual books. She loved all horses but Walking Horses were her passion. Her dream for the future was to be involved with equine therapy for children. Cristy adored her mother’s “chocolate gravy”, making fried Oreos, eating sushi, but her all-time, favorite meal was Kyle’s spaghetti – which she requested at least once a week. In true “Cristy” fashion, she requested that she be an organ donor if anything ever happened to her. Her request was honored and she has saved multiple lives.

Cristy is survived by her husband, Kyle Richardson; sons, Jalen Cline and Braylon Cline; step-son, Drew Richardson, step-daughters, Sydney Richardson and Kate Richardson; parents, Wayne and Margaret Morris; brothers, Keith Morris and Travis Morris; sister, Tori Mashburn; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Malcom Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams, Tennessee with Travis Morris, Jalen Cline, Braylon Cline, Travis Morris, Jr., Colton Morris, Clint Morris, Drew Richardson, and David Halpin serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Morris and Roger Richardson. Visitation will be held 4 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2024 and 10 am until service time Wednesday at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, 509 Walnut Street, Springfield, TN.
