Funeral service for Coy Steven “Stevie” “Free High” Randolph, age 65, of Chalybeate Springs will be 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mr. Randolph, who died Friday, November 10, 2023, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born December 28, 1957, in Alabama to Louis Coy Randolph and Ozellar (Flannagin) Randolph Ivey. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Cynthia Lou Randolph; and grandparents, David Arthur Randolph, Gertrude May Randolph, John Noe Flannagin, and Velma Phillips Flannagin. Called “Free High” by his close friends, he was always “Stevie” to his family. As a brick mason for many years, he was a hard and diligent worker. Stevie enjoyed getting together with his family and friends to play his favorite games of Horseshoes and Cornhole. A 1976 graduate of Mt. Hope High School, he excelled in basketball. He was passionate about collecting flags and other artifacts of our Confederate Flag and the United States Flag, both of which he proudly flew at his home. He also rolled with the Crimson Tide. His smile and joyful personality will be missed.
He is survived by two brothers, Larry Randolph and Troy Randolph; two sisters, Theresa Randolph Terry and Lana Randolph Terry; four nephews, Thomas Terry, Clay Randolph (Magan), Wesley Randolph (Misty), and Reggie Randolph (Sky); two nieces, Nikkol Coffey (Jeffery) and Krystal McDaniel (Adam); six great-nephews, Rhett Coffey, Levi Randolph, Colt Randolph, Connor Randolph, Kalvin McDaniel, and Raven Randolph; and four great-nieces, Raelyn Randolph, Lynley Randolph, McKinnley McDaniel, and Nova Randolph.
Pallbearers will be Clay Randolph, Wesley Randolph, Jeffery Coffey, and Reggie Randolph. Honorary pallbearer, Rhett Coffey.
