Coy “Papa” Strait, 74, of Centennial, Colo., passed away on Oct. 3, 2013. He was born in Cloverdale, Ala. on June 20, 1939. He was married to Lois Harbin on Feb. 17, 1960. Coy served four years in the U.S. Army before beginning a career in sales, from which he retired after 31 years, with Warner Lambert. He is survived by his wife, Lois of Centennial; his children, Mike and Carol Salvador, of Greeley, and Dan and Anita Winters, of Littleton; his grandchildren, Nicole and Ashley Winters, of Littleton; and stepgrandchildren, Matthew Salvador; and family of Haxtun and Justin Salvador, of Greeley. Funeral arrangements were held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013. Public viewing followed at 5 p.m. at Trevino Mortuary in Denver, Colo.
