Coy Neal Chambers – Obituary

Coy Neal Chambers, 59 of Arab Alabama, the Grassy Community, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Chambers was born September 26, 1957 in Marshall County to Amos Roy Chambers and Opal Nunn Chambers. He was a 1975 graduate of Brewer High School and worked at Lowe’s as a sales associate. Mr. Chambers enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, antique vehicles, being a handy man and “fixing things”. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Chambers was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by: Lisa Rhoades; his daughter and son-in-law: Angela Chambers Chamness and Nicky; a sister: Sue Chambers Wright; a sister-in-law: Linda Stewart Chambers; grandchildren: Hannah Grace Chamness, Kimberly and Willie Joe Watkins and Christina and Christopher Hood; great grandchildren: Makenzee, Madeylynn, Mason and Bryson and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Amos and Opal Chambers; a sister: LaRue Chambers Ellis and a brother: James Roy Chambers.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday January 23, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Michael King, officiating. Burial will be in Ryan Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Willie Joe Watkins, Ralph Kreps, Terry Ellis, Chad Ellis, Terry Jones and Billy Bishop. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Ellis, Terry King, Keith Leeth, Daniel Maze and Carson Ellis.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday January 22, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Diabetes Association of Alabama at 3918 Montclair Rd, Birmingham, Alabama 35213
