Coy Greer, 87, of Rogersville passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was a retired ironworker with Local No. 477.
A graveside service will be held today, September 15th at 1 p.m. in Barkley- White Cemetery. Ricky Cotton will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dale McCoy Greer, Jamie Simmons, Jacob Krieger, Matthew Scott, Micha Nash and Barry Waters.
Coy was preceded in death by his parents, W.B. and Alvie Greer; sisters, Zella Hames and Elaine Hughes; brothers, Harold Greer and William Greer. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edna M. Greer; sons, Jerry (Teresa) Greer and Lynn (Dietra) Greer; grandchildren, Dale Greer, Matthew (Christen) Scott, Bridgett (Jamie) Simmons, Danielle (Jacob) Krieger; four great-grandchildren and sister, Edna Earl Greer.
