Cornelia S Willis, “Sissy”, age 75 years, died at Huntsville Hospital, on Sunday, February 15, 2015. The cause of death was complications of heart and kidney disease.
Born on December 17, 1939, in Birmingham, Alabama, Sissy lived in Virginia and Georgia before settling in Forestdale, Alabama where she worked for Regions Bank.
Sissy’s survivors include her sons James and John, their wives Dee and Emily and 6 grandchildren, Carey, Erin Aubrey, JD, Evan and Buzz. Sissy was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Jim Willis.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday February 19, 2015 at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to share remembrances of Sissy at that time. Sissy will be buried at Mt. Carmel cemetery following the service.
