Cornelia Faye Ritchey  Warren County resident and Coffee County native, Cornelia Faye Ritchey was born April 19, 1936 and passed April 09, 2024 at her residence surrounded by loved ones, following an extended illness.

A homemaker, a retired farmer and Charter Member (1949) of Bethel Hill Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Jim P. and Geneva Gertrude Brandon Williamson. She was preceded in death by her loving best friend and husband of 53 years, Norvel William Ritchey. She was also preceded in death by brothers Charles and Roy Lee Williamson, and sisters Jimmie Sue Hunt and Mazel Louise Williamson.

Faye is survived by son Norman Ray (Melba) Ritchey, daughters Tonya Faye (Andrew) Rosenberg and Loretta Lynn Ritchey. Two sisters survive, Melba Kaye (Perry) Marcum, Joan Marie (John) Jordan. Brother Danny Glenn Williamson also survives. Her grandchildren are Kevin (Kelly) Parton and Nickelous (fiancé Misty Davis) Ritchey of McMinnville, Noah Rosenberg of Marysville, WA and Emily Simmons of Marysville, WA. Also surviving are great grandchildren Newby, Jonah, and Ian Parton, also several nieces, nephews, and friends as well as cousins.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Randolph will officiate. Interment will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and again Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
