Corey James Word, 23, of Minor Hill, TN passed away Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019 at Maury Regional Hospital. He was a member of Anderson Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 7th from 2 – 3 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel with Aaron Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Corey was preceded in death by his grandmother, Millinea Word; grandfather, Austin Dillinger; aunt, Marcia Cooper. He is survived by his parents, Brian & Lisa Word; brother, Michael Word; sister, Olivia Word all of Minor Hill; grandparents, James Word of Minor Hill and Betty Dillinger of Florida; uncles, Carey Dillinger, Jim Dillinger, Tim (Donna) Word and Curtis Cooper; aunts, Sharon (Glen) Tegg, Kathy Dillinger and Jane (Gene) Hurtt; numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bank Independent Corey Word Memorial Fund.
