Coretta Beatrice Lee Givens of Cypress Inn, TN was born February 21, 1919 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late John Columbus and Ella Lee Whitten Fowler. She died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 95 Years, 5 Months, 16 Days. She formerly had worked as a seamstress at Angelica in Collinwood and at a knitting mill, and was a member of Railroad Methodist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Robert Lee of Cypress Inn, TN, Kenneth Lee of Cherokee, AL, Doug Lee of Iron City, TN, and Jeff Lee of Collinwood, TN, three daughters, Ella Ruth Long Rich of Waynesboro, TN, Reva Nell Bowers Woods of Cypress Inn, TN, and Patricia Maples of Waynesboro, TN, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Taft Lee and Lewis Howard Givens, son, Marty Howard Lee, daughter, Annie Louise Lee, and brothers, Calvin Fowler and J.C. Fowler.
Services will be Friday, August 8, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Railroad Methodist Church with John Allen Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are Stanley Lee, Michael Lee, Justin Lee, Ryan Lee, Brent Olive, and Kyle Lee.
