Coreese Pardue

 Coreese Pardue, 94, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born in Itawamba County, MS to Cliff and Opal Thornton Thomas. She had worked as a seamstress for Blue Bell and was an early and lifelong member of Golden Central Baptist Church.

Services will be Tuesday, January 9, 1 p.m. at Golden Central Baptist Church, Golden, MS with Bro. Ralph Culp officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Todd Rogers (Kim) and Julie Rogers (James Guthery); great-grandchildren, Trent Rogers, Brayen Hastings, Bellace Hastings, Kallen and Kruz Guthery; one sister, Brenda Elliott and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dexter Pardue, Claude Jones and Harvey Gray; three children, Patsy Coats, Judy Jones and Jerry Jones, her parents and siblings, Bernice Puckett, Maxine Long, W.C. Thomas, Rose Thomas and Floyd Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Brayen Hastings, Randy Elliott, Jeff Long, Marvin Carlton, Bobby Puckett, Eric Montgomery and David Jones.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Golden Central Baptist Church.
