Cordy Frank “Frankie” Bates, age 56, of Adamsville, TN (formerly of Tuscumbia) passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024..
Frankie was a member of the Church of Christ. He drove a truck for the last 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Bates; and grandparents, Homer & Myrtle Aday and Sam & Rachel Bates.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, George & Margaret Bates; brothers, Charles Bates (wife, Vickie), John Bates (wife, Cynthia); nieces, Brandi and Rachel; nephews, Joshua & William; aunts, Selma Montgomery, Mary Aday, Wanda Bates; uncle, Bruce Bates; and special friends, Jeff Wicks and Jayson Khortz.
The visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Bro. Bryan Turbyfill will officiate the service. The burial will be at Shaw Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Jeff Wicks, Josh Wicks, Greg Jeffries, Lowell Jeffries, LeTroy Jeffries, and William Bates.
