FREEDOM HILLS – We here at The Quad-Cities Daily always feel privileged to be able to attend the very special events which are held in our little part of America. From the events along the Natchez Trace Parkway, to things like Oka Kapassa (which will happen next weekend), to the Labor Day Fest at the world-famous, Coon Dog Cemetery out in Colbert County. The only one of its kind…

This year, the folks who organize the fete were blessed with some excellent weather… (Let’s face it, the last couple of years weren’t great…)

There was music, BBQ, friends meeting old friends who haven’t seen each other in some time… Coon dog lyin’ goin’ on…And The Quad-Cities Daily was there to record some of the day in EVENT PHOTOS…
