Constance Victoria Bixby age 67, of Florence, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Visitation will be Friday, August 24, 2012, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Wayne Miller officiating. Burial will be at Railroad Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert H. Bixby, and Carlton E. Fowler; granddaughter, Hope Ann Bixby; mother, Connie Aurelia Nance Douglas; father, Albert Nance; grandfather, John Sledge, and grandmother, Belle O. Sledge. Survivors are her children, Tim Quillen of Valhermosa Springs, Alabama, Carlton W. Quillen (Emily) of Elwood, Indiana, John R. Bixby of Calhoun, Georgia, and Tonya Bixby of Calhoun, Georgia; sisters, Charlotte Staggs of Florence, Jewell Kirk of Columbia, South Carolina, Darlene Brooks of Columbia, South Carolina, Barbara Jean Klitzsch of Rockford, Illinois, Judy Ann Baker of Machesney Park, Illinois, and Cora Mae Brush of Rockford, Illinois; grandchildren, Timmy Bixby, Cameron Prince, Chelsea Bixby, John Robert Bixby, and Harley Quillen and one great-grandson, Avian Knowles.
