Constance “Connie” Marveline Thomas, age 92, of Muscle Shoals, passed away April 27, 2023. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 2, from 5:00 –
7:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The funeral will be on Wednesday, May 3, at 2:00 p.m., with Larry Kilpatrick and Tom Gosser
officiating. She will lie in state an hour before the service. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Thomas; son, Roger Thomas; daughter-in-law, Tina Thomas; and parents, Henry and Myrtle Birdwell.
Survivors include her sons, Skipper Thomas (Pam) and Mike Thomas; daughter-in-law, Patrisha Thomas; brothers, Wick Birdwell (Lucy) and Ed
Birdwell (Diane); sister, Frances Birdwell; grandchildren, Kristie Woodfin (Tommy), Tonya Hayes (David), Skylar McClellan, and Garrett Thomas
(Nikki); and great-grandchildren, Logan, Cody, Mason, Sidney, Cora, Marlee, Caden, Collin and Allison.
She was a member of Cox Blvd. Church of Christ in Sheffield.
