Connor Reed Sloan came into the world quietly and peacefully on August 22,2025 at 4:22 p.m. to Lane and Amanda Sloan. Though he was only with us for a short time, Connor was already deeply loved by many, and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. His memory will live on in the love of his parents, family and friends who will cherish him always. Connor will never be forgotten, and he will forever be a part of our hearts and souls. We take great comfort in knowing that he is in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
Connor is survived by his father and mother, Lane and Amanda Sloan. Siblings, Frankie and Talulah Sloan. Grandparents, Paul and Becky Gregory. Aunts and Uncles, Brandon and Rachel Sargent, Dave and Jessica Johnson. Cousins, Sydney, Briley, Whaley Sargent and Hunter Johnson. Many other great-grandparents, great-aunts/uncles, grandparents, aunts/uncles and many cousins. This also includes many friends that were just like family.
Connor is preceded in death by Mytina Sandlin Sloan, Thomas Segovia III, Judy Carol Sloan, Bro. Tommy Whaley, Linda Yarbrough Whaley, Thomas Segovia Jr., Rebecca Herrera Segovia, Peggy Watson, Tommy and Elizabeth Sandlin.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 24,2025 at 4:00 pm at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Dr. Lloyd Sweatt officiating.
Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Paul Gregory, Brandon Sargent, Dave Johnson, Tony Anderson and Donnie Sloan.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 pm.
