Connie Logan, age 56, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
Connie was born in Anniston, Alabama on August 24, 1966 to Clyde and Julia Logan.
She had a “one of a kind” spirit with being loving, kind, compassionate on one hand, but strong, fierce, and feisty on the other. She was a mixture of many things and those things made her unapologetically herself. Connie was a beloved mother who helped raise two strong independent women. She was a momma’s girl and some would even go as far to say, she was her mother’s “favorite.” She was the sister who had your back especially if someone wronged you and the aunt who was always fun and willing help you with what she could. Connie was the friend who always showed up, and the kind of person who if she couldn’t be there in person, you better trust and believe you could always hear her, loud and proud! Of all the titles Connie had, “MawMaw” was by far her favorite, La’Tayah, gave her a new light she didn’t know she had and a brand new purpose: to be the best MawMaw she could, and that she was. To know Connie meant you got to see her, all of her, and all of her was beautiful. She may of not always had it right, but in the end she made it right.
Left to carry on Connie’s memory: Daughters; Whitney (Marisa) Bates of Cartersville, Ga. Vannah Barksdale of Lincoln, Al. Grand daughter; La’Tayah (Tay-Tay) Sister; Deb (Mike) McNeal of Jacksonville, Al. Nephew; Brandon McNeal of Weaver, Al. Niece; Blair McNeal of Jacksonville, Al. Lifelong friend; Edward Barksdale of Lincoln, Al. Several great nieces and nephews along with many, many great friends.
Connie was welcomed to eternal life by parents Clyde and Julia Logan (Jennings). Grand parents, Estelle and Ed Logan, Floyd and Ruby Jennings. Her angel babies Shelby and Delilah. Life long friends, Evelyn and Sonja.
