Connie Lee Williams passed away at the young age of 65 this past Sunday, 20 July 2014. She was a daughter, a mother and a grandmother. She was loved by all and lived life the way she wanted too. The Lord took her too soon from us and she is dearly missed and loved.

She loved the Alabama Crimson Tide and would watch the game every game day with those words “ROOOOOOLL TIDE” in her heart and soul. She also enjoyed lazy Sunday afternoons watching NASCAR. She was a simple woman and did not care about fashion. T-shirts, sweatpants and her ROLL TIDE baseball/football cap were her daily attire. Dressing up for her on those rare occasions meant putting on a blouse or sweater and pants. And there were those “rare” occasions. She led a simple life in her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her father Earl Floyd Williams. She is survived by her mother Alma Nadine Williams from Colcord, OK; brothers Lloyd “Willy” Williams from Huntsville, AL and Glen Williams from Las Vegas, NV; sons David E. Hicks from Trabitz, Germany and Kyle C. Bingham from Huntsville, AL and seven grandchildren.

Rest in Peace, Connie, Mom, Grandma (Oma). We miss you and love you.
