Connie D. Posey, age 77 of Huntland, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Estill Fork, Alabama on July 1, 1943 to the late John C. and Nova E. (Burks) Posey. Before his retirement, he was a full-time farmer and loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting. But most of all, he cherished the time spent with his beloved family. In addition to his parents, Connie was preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy Posey, Kathryn Dudley, and Cynthia Posey. He is survived by his siblings, Billy (Peggy) Posey of Winchester, Carolyn (Bill) Matthews of Calhoun, Georgia, Barbara Sisk of Scottsboro, Alabama, and Teresa Butler of Belvidere; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Mike Robertson officiating.
