Mr. Connard L. Wood age 82 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Saturday August 27, 2022, at the
Cloverdale Manor Nursing Home in Scottsboro. Mr. Wood was born in Cullman Co. Alabama and was
retired from Mead Paper Mill in Stevenson, Alabama where he was Powerhouse Operator, and was an avid
Fisherman, and was of the Baptist faith.
Connard is survived by his wife Onvie Wood, daughter Nena (Patrick) Stills, Sons Kenneth (Tracy) Wood,
Charles C. Wood, Rickey Wood, his brothers Buford, Larry, Jerry, and Joe C. Wood, sister Leanese Smith,
14 Grandchildren, and several Great Grandchildren, Connard was preceded in death by his parents Robert
Franklin and Lillian Wood, son Michael Wood, and his Great Grandson Justin Wood.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 30, 2022, at the Rudder Funeral home in Scottsboro, Al.
