Columbus Gipson “Gip” Kilpatrick, age 89 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away September 13, 2023. He served in the United States Army, operated Kilpatrick Dairy Farm, retired owner of Furniture Supply and was a member of Corinth Heights Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Lance Hogan officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Justin Kilpatrick, Wes Kilpatrick, Matt Kilpatrick, Greg Herald, Alan Kilpatrick and Stan Posey will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Kilpatrick is survived by his children, Randy Kilpatrick, Tim Kilpatrick and Selenia Kilpatrick; the mother of his children, Iva Kilpatrick; brother, Ben Kilpatrick; sister, Patsy Rayfield; grandchildren, Wesley Kilpatrick, Matt Kilpatrick, Justin Kilpatrick and Brittany Kilpatrick; great grandchildren, Peighton Kilpatrick, Lyla Kate Kilpatrick, Lydia Goings, Gatlin Kilpatrick, Gage Kilpatrick, Landon Malone, Elliot Malone, Anna Flanagan and Kynzlee Flanagan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Noley and Irene Kilpatrick; and siblings, Fayerene Patterson, Blaine Kilpatrick, Bill Kilpatrick, Frenetta James and Nancy Posey.
