Mac was a CTM Petty Officer, 2nd Class, serving ten years in the US Navy. He worked as an instrument and control / electrical journeyman at Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant and at International Paper Company. Mac’s passions and loves were his family, friends, music, his Harley, and Alabama football. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Ray and Grace O’dell Black McDonald.
Mac is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years, Darlene Aycock McDonald, of Muscle Shoals; daughter, Amber McDonald Lanier (Gary), of Florence; and grandchildren, Gracie Jane McAdams and Colton Lanier.
