Coleen Rebekah Persell, age 6, left this life on Sunday September 9, 2012. She was a first grader at Kilby Laboratory School in Mandy Wicks’ class. Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 4pm until 8 pm. Her funeral will be on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 3 pm in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Frank Richey, Don Miller, and Rod Townsley will be officiating. She will be laid to rest in Greenview Memorial Cemetery’s Garden of Rest.
She leaves behind her parents, Jason and Holly, brothers, Tucker and Colton, and sister, Taylor. She also leaves her great- grandmother Dorothy Bean, grandparents Foy and Janice Persell, grandparents Terry and Karen Thompson. Her aunts and uncles include Grady and Julie Persell, Bob and Sonja Furse, Bryan Persell, Rose Vig, Paul and Cindi Thompson, Jason and Tricia Thompson, Bryan and Jenny McDonald, Chris and Mandy Harrington. Her extended family includes many great- aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and her family at the Riverbend Church of Christ.
Coleen was loved by all who met her and she met each and every day with a smile and a giggle. We pray that this tragedy will bring Christians closer together and bring the lost to Christ.
