Leon Tidwell
COLBERT COUNTY-The search is still underway for a missing 72 year-old man, Leon Tidwell. Mr. Tidwell has been missing since the afternoon of June 8th.
Here is what the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office knows to date regarding this case:
“Search is still underway for missing elderly male subject, Leon Tidwell. Age 72, Hgt: 5’7”, a resident of Muscle Shoals who was last seen Monday afternoon, June 8, on foot in the area of Haye’s Landing Boat Ramp in the Margerum Community of Colbert County, AL. (near Riverton Rose Trail)
Mr. Tidwell was wearing a white t-shirt, cut off blue jean shorts, and glasses. He has a tattoo on his right arm that says “TID”
The state is supplying a helicopter to aid in the search and Sheriff Williamson, Investigators, Deputies and other volunteer personnel are using ATVs to ride and search the area.
