TUSCUMBIA-On Thursday, April 30 Probate Judge Daniel Rosser issued a statement concerning the opening of the Colbert County courthouse on Monday May 4th after closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic:
“The Colbert County courthouse and Probate office will be open on Monday May 4th. All persons who have been waiting to handle tag and title business can come in.
However, we will be observing social distancing guidelines and limiting the number of people allowed in the building,so we expect long lines outside the building. I STRONGLY suggest all May tag renewal customers to renew via mail or online in order to avoid waiting in line. The Alabama court system will continue to be closed to all but essential services until May 15th.
