On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, Cody Wayne Martin went home to be with the Lord and reunited with two babies that were called home before birth.
He is survived by a wife of nine years, Lamanda; son, Kaleb; daughter, Adrianna (Joe) Martin; bonus daughter, Thalia Hinojosa; sister Deenah (Matt) Hamilton; brother, Trent Neely; sister-in-law, Michelle Ash; brother-in-law, Ben Burney; sister-in-law, Melissa (Lee) Gilstrap; sister-in-law, Kelli Burney; father, Donny; mother-in-law, Joyce Butler; grandma, Dean Martin (Cook); along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; also the people in his life he had a special “quality” bond with; Judy “Wayne” Heatherly; Zoee Hamilton; Stephen Corbin and Helen Corbin.
He is preceded in death by; daughter, Bailey; parents Sara and Chris Neely; father-in-law, Bobby Burney; grandparents, Arthur and Polly Oden; grandpa, Bobby Martin.
Cody considered himself “The Best” forklift operator at the company he worked at, Rehau. Because he was a donor he will help or save many lives with this gift. His favorite thing to do was watching University of Alabama football games every Saturday, ROLL TIDE! He devoted his life to loving and caring for family and those he considered family. Cody lived by the Motto: “Life is not about the QUANITY of friends you have, but the QUALITY that real friends possess.”
Cody is loved and will be greatly missed, until we meet again.
