Mr. Newton was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, a welder, a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of The Way Church. Survivors include: Son- Stephen Newton of Lawrenceburg, TN; 2 Daughters- Tracie Adkison & husband Nathan of Santa Fe, TN; Amy Lynn & husband Matt of Lawrenceburg, TN; 1 Sister- Carolyn Hobbs of Pulaski, TN; 10 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews; Preceded in death by: Parents- Thomas & Viola Newton; Wife- Carmie Newton; The funeral service will be officiated by Larry Creekmore & David Byrd. Burial will follow in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens with military honors at the graveside. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to the Christian Children’s Fund P.O.
