Clyde Douglas Isom, 78 of Arab passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at his residence. Doug was born on October 31, 1942, in Arab, AL the Son of Neal Clyde and Hazel Elizabeth Gunter Isom. He was a graduate of Arab High School and was married to Patricia Meharg on June 18, 1961. He farmed for many years and retired after working for Liberty National for several years. Doug was a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his Wife: Pat Meharg Isom of Arab; Children: Steve (Frankie) Isom of Cummings, Georgia, Benny (Amy) Isom of Arab, Donna (Keith) Pritchett of Arab and Andy Isom of Arab; Brother: Mike (Rochelle) Isom of Arab; Sister in law: Cathie Meharg of Arab; Grandchildren: Alexandria Isom (Nick) White, Stewart Isom, Natalie (Neiman) Wagner, Gunter Isom, Aaron (Emily) Pritchett, Layton (KC) Pritchett, Grace Ann Pritchett, Shelby Isom and Graydon Isom; Great Granddaughter: Elizabeth White and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Preceded in death by: Parents: Neal and Hazel Isom; Son: Tracey Blain Isom.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later time.
