Clyde David Norris, age 71, a resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, May 31st at his home.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born December 3, 1945 in Nashville, he was the son of the late Clyde Davis and Elwin Mayo Norris and the husband of Mary Hendrick Norris. He had a love for horses and was self employed as a thoroughbred race horse trainer with many accomplishments over the past twenty years. He also had owned and operated a service station and did carpentry work.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Kenneth Edwin Norris of Nashville; sisters: Lynda (David) Duncan of Santa Fe, NM, Patrice Norris of Nashville and Joyce (Jeff) Reynolds of Ocala, FL.
