Funeral service for Cloie Belle Kelley, age 89, of Cullman, is Tuesday July 9, 2024, at 2 pm at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Malcom Carter and Rev. Steve Rogers officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm and interment will be at Friendship Methodist Cemetery.

Cloie was born on October 9, 1934, to William Washington Pirkle and Lilly Belle Johnson Pirkle. She passed from this life on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roe W. Kelley; brothers, James Pirkle, Theo Pirkle, Bill Pirkle, Harlice Pirkle, Odell Pirkle; sisters, Jaunita Cobbs, Betty Elrod.
She is survived by her sons, Tim Kelley (Sindy), Terry Kelley; daughters, Sharon Humphries (Steve), Melissa Purser (Dave); grandchildren, Kelli Powell (Mark), Kristi (Steven) Witcher, Heath “Bubba” Harbison (Chanda), Julie Welborn (John), Kaitlyn Aguirre (Andy), Terri Lynn Kelley, Shaton Kelley; 17 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends, and the residents, nurses, CNAs, at Woodland Nursing Home.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cloie was a member of Friendship Methodist Church. She worked on a farm and enjoyed selling at the farmer’s market. Some other things she enjoyed were spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and traveling with her senior citizen friends. Cloie was an avid Alabama football fan and loved watching Atlanta Braves Baseball. Her family remembers her cooking, and her good biscuits and gravy. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
