Clinton Bryson Davis, Jr. died Monday, February 26, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. C.B. recently celebrated his 100th birthday, February 22 surrounded by family and friends. He is the son of the late Clinton Bryson Davis, Sr. and Nola Mae Brummet Davis and widow of Roberta Garner Davis. C. B. was a proud United States Army veteran who served his country during World War II. He retired as manager of the maintenance department from the Railroad Company after 43 years. C. B. attended Northeast Church of Christ.
Besides his parents, and wife, C. B. was also preceded by his three brothers, Troy, Horace, and Harold Davis; and one sister, Zane Davis. He is survived by his extended family and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Pegues, Tupelo.
Funeral services honoring his life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Minister Trey Haskett officiating. Graveside services will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Skelley, Juan Waggoner, Louis Cervantes, Terry Dearman, Buck Wooldridge, and Scott Doles.
