Mr. Clifton L. Pounds, 75, of Roy Whitt Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 in the Huntsville Hospital.
Service will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at McRae Chapel with interment in Memory Hill Cemetery. Bro. Joey Greghorn will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday evening 6 – 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Pounds was born in Alabama on Oct. 1, 1937 to Willie Lee & Nelda Baird Pounds. He was a programmer analyzer and Assistant Manager for the Family Savings Federal Credit Union for 22 years. He was also the owner of Boaz Music and Sound.
Mr. Pounds is survived by his Wife: Martha Smith Pounds of Boaz, Mother: Nelda Baird Pounds of Boaz Brothers & Sister-in-Law: Marston D. Pounds and Steve & Susan Pounds all of Florida, Sister: Bonnie Phillips of Albertville, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces & Nephews and Great, Great Nieces & Nephews.
