Clifton Delaney Wilson, age 51, of Russellville, said goodbye to this world after a brief illness on Monday, March 28, 2022 with family by his side.
Clifton was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved life and enjoyed making everyone around him laugh, and he was always ready to help a friend in need. Everyone knew a simple goodbye with Clifton would usually end up in another two hour conversation because he just enjoyed being around people. He could fix almost anything if given enough time, a jack of all trades and a master of many all because he enjoyed helping people. Clifton continued his tinkering and mechanical repairs even when starting a new career of being a real estate agent. He was a real estate agent beginning with Caldwell Bankers and then Café Realty where he loved helping new friends find their forever homes. On Feb 15th, he gave his life to Christ and was forever changed. Even in his sickness, he was still able to be baptized on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Yes, lots of tears have been shed because we will be living life without him…. But we have continued through today with laughter, stories, and hugs knowing that he is able to be pain free for eternity.
He was preceded in death by his father, Qunnice Williams; grandmother, Mildred Suddith, and step-brother, Ricky Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 25 years, Angie Phillips Wilson; children, Gage Stutts (Lauren), Devin Wilson, Pamelah Wilson, Kylie Wilson; granddaughter, Ellie Stutts; mother, Patsy Williams; sister, Samantha Montgomery (Barry); step-siblings, Larry, Jeannie, Tara, half-brother, Troy; several nieces & nephews; and a host of friends.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The celebration of life service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 01, 2022 at Spry Memorial Chapel.
