Rev. Clifton “Cliff” Howard, Jr., age 77 of Joelton, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, March 8, 2021.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00PM on Friday, March 12th, with Rev. Randal Holdman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Catholic Church Cemetery in Joelton with Charles Felts, Charles Scalf, Jr., Justin Felts, Jonathan Felts, Brandon Trent, and Keaton Kendrick serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 11th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Friday from 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mr. Howard was born on December 14th, 1943 in Pittsburg, California to the late Clifton Howard Sr, and Reba Phelps Howard.
After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Cliff invested his entire life making a difference. As an Ordained Minister with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) he pastored several prominent churches throughout the U.S. After serving 25 years in full-time ministry, Cliff continued his passion with training and recruiting where he devoted 27 years working with many of the top automotive dealerships in the nation and as a sales recruiter, facilitator and trainer with AutoMax . He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Gail Howard; daughter, Dana Gail (Randal) Holdman; grandchildren, Brandon O’Brien (Jessica) Trent, and Lindsay Paige (Keaton) Kendrick; and great-grandchild, Ada Mae Holdman Trent; Brother-in-law Charlie (Myra) Felts, Sister-in-law Carla (Charles “Bubba”) Scalf, and many nephews, nieces and their families.
