Clifford Leon Hamilton, 87, of Muscle Shoals, passed away March 16, 2013. His visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Colbert Memorial Chapel in Tuscumbia from noon-1 p.m. His funeral will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Hamilton, and sister, Clara Hamilton Rickard.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Wells Hamilton; daughter, Karen Hamilton Harris (Mike); grandchildren, Drew Harris (Kaelie), Emily Harris Crow (Tim), and Will Harris; and great grandchildren, Mack and Lucy Crow.
Mr. Hamilton loved his country and served in the Army during World War II. He received aPurple Heart after being wounded while in Germany.
Pallbearers will be Drew Harris, Will Harris, Tim Crow, Carlis Carmike, Jim Fuqua, Keith Corson, and Don Bowling.
