Mr. Clifford Calvin Lansdell, 87, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 26, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County and a member of New Hope Church of Christ.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Church of Christ. The body will lie-in-state from 1:30-2:30 p.m. with Brother Carl Sigenthaler officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Lansdell was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma B. Lansdell, parents, Clarence and Eunice Lansdell, brothers, Bill, Percy, Earl, Forest, and James Lansdell, sisters, Bessie Kelso, Eula Cartee, and Clara Phillip, and granddaughter , Melinda Lansdell Key.
He is survived by his daughter, Kay Green (Kenneth); sons, Ronald Lansdell (Ginger) and David Lansdell (Sherrie); sisters, May Patterson and Barbara Gayle Joiner; grandchildren, Ricky Archer (Julie), Angie Monceret (Bret), Kristina Lansdell, and Phillip Lansdell (Crystal); and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Archer, Phillip Lansdell, Andrew Archer, Laken Lansdell, Chase Howell, Tucker Hart, Greg Grigsby, and Bret Monceret.
