Cliff Eaton, 77, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at the North MS Medical Center. He was born April 6, 1947 in Greenville to William and Vera Jo Eaton. He worked for Uncle Ben’s Rice Company and was a Fireman for the City of Greenville. After moving to Saltillo, he was a self employed pool and hot tub repairman. He never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with everyone. He was a Baptist and a Christian and shared his belief with others. He was and avid viewer of NCIS and he loved to hunt and fish.

Services will be 2 PM Saturday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with William Branscum delivering a Eulogy. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Eaton of Saltillo; his children, Clifton Eaton, Jr. (Penny) of Greenville, Josephine Branscum of Cedartown, GA, Robert Wayne Eaton of Saltillo, Pam Neal of Nettleton and Jeffrey Langdon of Saltillo; one sister, Madeline Parker of Greenville; one brother, Jesse Eaton (Susan) of Tupelo; 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, William Eaton and Michael Langdon; three brothers, Tommy Eaton, Freddie Eaton and Matt Eaton; three sisters, Linda Broyhill, Mary Eaton and Brenda Donald.

Visitation will be 1 – 2 Saturday.
