Cleveland O’Neal Erwin, 80, of Florence, born December 07, 1943, passed away April 11, 2024 at his residence. He was a member of Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 12-2 p.m. Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Malcolm Scott and Mike Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Freewill Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Erwin was preceded in death by his parents, M.C. and Janie Erwin.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ann McMurtrey Erwin; son, David Erwin of Florence; daughter, Connie Niedergeses (Mark) of Loretto, TN; Brothers, McRae Erwin of Killen, Charles Erwin of Madison, and Larry Erwin (Susan) of Florence; grandchildren, Brittany Niedergeses of Loretto, TN, Crystal Troup (John) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Phillip Niedergeses (Rebecca)of Loretto, TN; and great-grandchildren, Jace and Rylee Troup, and Brelynn Niedergeses.
Pallbearers will be John Troup, Cain Creasy, Tommy Erwin, Shannon Erwin, Phillip Niedergeses, and Brian Erwin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Brooks and Ray Carpenter.
