Cleo Townsend, age 77, Brilliant, AL. passed away Friday 7, 2016. He was retired equipment operator from the Mining Industry.
He visitation will be Sunday October 9, 2016 at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., with the funeral on Monday October 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, Jerry Self will be officiating. Burial to follow in Brock Cemetery.
He is survived by children, Shawn (Mandy) Townsend, Clesha (Robert) Price and Eric Townsend; brother and sisters, Lloyd Townsend, Karen (Gary) Wakefield, Peggy (J.W.) Yocom and Vaughn (Jessie) Flanagin; grandchildren, Cierra Townsend, Payten Lovett, Reece Townsend and John Price; great granddaughter, Eliza Jane Lovett.
He was preceded in death by, parents, Alford and Vernie Maw Townsend; wife, Brenda Gail Townsend; sister, Ima Sue Sibley; sister in law, Tootsie Townsend.
