Cleo B. Dixon, age 93 of Florence passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at home with her daughter in Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation will be held at Elkins Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. untill 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, followed by graveside services at 2:00 P.M. at Greenview Memorial Park with Rev. Edward Burbank officiating.
She was preceded in death by her huband Charles Dixon, parents Rev. Mack Burns & Emma Roberson Burns, stepmother Pearl Dodd Burns, sister Ruth Anderson, and brother James Mack “J.M.” Burns.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Dixon Fox & husband Mike Fox of Oklahoma City, grandsons Nick Fox, Chris Fox & daughter-in-law Tasheena Fox, great-grandchildren Arya Fox, Draygan Fox, Breanna Salcido & Meliton Salcido, all of Oklahoma City, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was an LPN over 30 years and worked at ECM Hospital until her retiremnet. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary, American Legion Post 11 and a member of Cypress Chapter 195 Order of the Eastern Star.
