cleadusCleadus Harold Lindsey, 75, of Florence, passed away March 20, 2015 at his residence after an extended illness. He attended Central High School, served his country in the U.S. Navy, and retired from Brown’s Ferry.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 5 – 9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery with military funeral honors.

Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Butler Lindsey; parents, Bertie and Mary Lindsey; brothers, Dalton and Glen Lindsey; sisters, Verlon Holt, Reba Myhan, and Neva Holt.

He is survived by his son, Donnie Lindsey (Rhonda) Robertsdale, AL; daughters, Connie Denton (Mark), Rhonda Bryant (Ray) all of Florence; grandchildren, Lindsey Stricklin (James), Will Denton (Kara), Connor Lindsey (Lauren), Ashlyn Lindsey, Tim May; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Brenton and Braylee Stricklin, Molly and Maggie Lindsey.

Active pallbearers will be Will Denton, Connor Lindsey, Tim May, Mike Chaney, James Stricklin, and Ray Bryant.

Honorary pallbearers will be brothers-in-law, Billy Moore, Scotty Butler, Keith McDaniel, David McDaniel, Mark Lindsey, and Coffee Buddies from Homeside Restaurant.

Special thanks to Katie, Sandy, Myra Truitt, Gentiva Hospice, and his restaurant families.
