Clayton “Pete” Smithey

Mr Smithey was preceded in death by his parents, Rice and Eula Smithey; three sisters; and four brothers.

Mr Smithey is survived by his children, Darlene Smithey, Charles Smithey, Christine (John) Mayes , Marlena Smithey, and Jason Smithey all of Huntsville; his sisters, Jennie Herron of Talladega and {Mattie} Bea Hopkins of Huntsville; two grandchildren: Marissa (Steven) McCLure and Cody Mayes; and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with services immediately following with Pastor Troy Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Toney
