Clayton Dwagne Green, age 38 of Estill Springs, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems-Winchester. He was born on June 16, 1983 in Ingles, IL to Mark and Lisa Green. Clayton played football and baseball for Franklin County Schools. He loved Alabama football and enjoyed all kinds of sports. Clayton was adventurous and loved all kinds of music. He will be remembered as a passionate, kindhearted person, who loved his family dearly. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Auburn Talmage and Pearline Ethridge and grandfather, Milford Elton Green. Clayton is survived by his daughter, Carmen Nicole Green; parents, Mark and Lisa Green; siblings, Corie (Jeremy) Smith and Dillon (Chelsea) Green; grandmother, Peggy Joan Green; niece and nephew, Phebe and Sawyer Matthews; girlfriend, Lacey Cooley; aunts, Debbie (Jim) Smith and Stacy Green; several cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Moore-Cortner. Interment will be held at Beechgrove Cemetery in Francisco, AL.
