Clayborn F. Mitchell, 91, of Tuscumbia, died Saturday, November 10, 2012. His graveside service will be Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 2 P.M. at Tuscumbia Oakwood cemetery with Rev. David Lee officiating.
Mr. Mitchell was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during WWII. He retired as an electrical supervisor with Reynolds Alloys after 40 plus years of service. He was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Tuscumbia and a member of the V.F.W.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Willadean Mitchell; son, Steve Mitchell; daughter, Libba Mitchell; and nephew, Billy Ray Tompkins.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of The Cottage of the Shoals.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Faith Promise Missions at The First United Methodist Church of Tuscumbia.
