Claude Ray Jenkins, Sr., age 75 of Gaylesville, passed away Saturday morning at his residence. Mr. Jenkins was born on December 21, 1945 to the late Frank Everett & Alice Stewart Jenkins in Shaw, Mississippi. He worked for 35 years as a maintenance supervisor in the Greenville Public School System in Mississippi.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his children, Claude Ray “Shorty” Jenkins, Jr. and wife, Susan, James Edward Jenkins and wife, Carey, Tammy Lynn Jenkins Gafford and husband, Tim, and Glenn Edward Jenkins and wife, Marie; sister, Shirley Sanford; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that loved him.
