Funeral service for Claude A. Anders age 92 of Hartselle will be Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 11:00am at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother A. Ray Lee officiating with burial in the Herring Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 9:00am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Anders, who was born December 31, 1930, in Morgan County to John Forrest Anders and Alma Christine Murphree Anders, died on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at his home. He was a Baptist, a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, and a Member of the Nunn-Oden Masonic Lodge in Hartselle. He was a Farmer, a machinist by trade, working at Dunlop Tire and then founding Anders Machine Shop in Falkville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lorene Holmes Anders, by his parents, a brother, James Anders, a sister, Rachel Ransom and a grandson, Brandon Crocker.

His Grandsons, Brandon Hendrix, Brackett Crocker Jr., Forrest Anders, Lane Anders, Tyler Anders and Caleb Anders will serve as pallbearers.
