Claud Wayne Buckelew, age 90, of Vinemont, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.He is survived by his wife of 72 years Vivian Drusilla Porter Buckelew, daughter Paula Buckelew Perry, son Nicky Wayne (Racheal) Buckelew and grandchildren Veronica (Tim) Wallace, Vicki (Joe) Pawulak, Jason (Daisy) Smith, Jeremy (Heather) Buckelew, Sandi (Johnathan) Laher, Lacie Buckelew, and Sarah Perry, 15 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sidney Buckelew and Clara Bain (Ross) Risi, daughter Pamela Ann Buckelew, son Randall Lynn Buckelew, brother Limous (Ilene) Buckelew and grandchildren Chris (Carol) Smith and Rodney Douglas Buckelew.
He was a long-time business owner and a faithful deacon of his church. Loved and lived for his family and will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Claud will be held Monday, March 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. A lie-in-state will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM in the chapel, with the interment to follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, 1384 CR-1101, Vinemont, AL 35179.
