Claud Smith Jr., 82, of Dyersburg passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at AHC Senior Care in Dyersburg. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Sunday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday at Garner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Asbury Cemetery.
Mr. Smith was a retired City of Ripley employee.
The widower of Lillian Geary Smith, he is survived by a daughter Jackie Ryan of Dyersburg, a son Claudie Smith of Dyersburg, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters Sarah Holland, Dot Rose, Evelyn Beavis, and Hazel Hatch Hart and 2 brothers Don Holland and James Holland.
