We celebrate the homegoing of one of God’s children. Miss Clarissa “Susie” Griffin whom was born in Guntersville, Alabama to the late Eugene Paschal and the late Rosemary Bond. Clarissa crossed the Jordan River on March 23, 2025. Clarissa reunited with her beloved parents, (grandparents) Gertie Maxwell, L.D Vaughn, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ford Paschal; (Brother) James Griffin; (Sister) Zeta Walthall; and a host of aunts and uncles
Clarissa confessed hope in Christ on February 25, 1996. Clarissa worked as a Dispatcher for Gold Kist, Game Time Playgrounds and Osborne Trucking Company. She enjoyed reading traveling, being with her friends and the simple things life had to offer her.
She leaves to cherish her life a earthly father figure Elbert Hundley of Guntersville, Alabama. Earthly mother figure Linda Watkins. Three sisters, Asha Cothron of Albertville, Alabama, Gertrella (Dylan) Barros of Boaz, Alabama, Sabrina Looney of Boston, Massachusetts: Two Brothers; Jordan Griffin of Anniston, Alabama and Ray Looney of Guntersville, Alabama; Two Aunts; Jacqueline Maxwell of Rainbow City, Alabama, Lynn Hampton of Guntersville, Alabama; Two Uncles Clyde Vaughn of Gadsden, Alabama, Johnathan Havis of Albertville, Alabama; A special Cousin/Sister Tammy Looney of Albertville: A host of Nieces and Nephews.
Ms. Griffins Funeral service will take place on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at St. Minor Primitive Baptist Church in Guntersville. The Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the start of the service. Burial will be conducted at Henryville Cemetery.
