Clarence Lee “C.L.” Bassham, Jr., was called home Friday, October 5, 2012 at Crockett Hospital. He was a charter member of Center Point Baptist Church, where he faithfully served the Lord, singing and praising Him with his church family for 55 years. A U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from Murray Ohio Mfg., he had a passion for the outdoors and farmed cows until his health prevented him from doing so. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and the best “Popas” his grandchildren and great-grandchildren could ask for.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Lee and Fanny Jones Bassham; and one brother, Gentry Bassham.
